Sponsored by Lloyds TSB and Moreland Insurance, the morning meal promoted Francover.com, a brand new website dedicated to providing specialist cover and advice to those involved in franchising.
Moreland Insurance Director, Maurice Logie said: “Francover.com has already taken several months of careful planning and will grow as both franchisors and franchisees see that we are here to give them the insurance cover they need at cost effective premiums.”
Francover.com will not only provide quality insurance products from the likes of Hiscox, Norwich Union and AIG, it will also provide advice and guidance for franchisees regarding current legislation and health and safety issues.
Maurice further explains: “Francover.com is the first of its kind and will provide a number of insurance products including property insurance, public and employer's liability, motor insurance, Professional Indemnity and legal expenses.”

Moreland Insurance became an affiliate member of the British Franchising Association in December last year and is one of only four insurance brokers to do so and with the three other companies based in the south of England, Moreland and Francover.com is the first based in Scotland or the North.
With more than 40 years of experience and successful trading, Moreland Insurance is perfectly placed to offer this resource to the franchise sector.
Maurice Logie said: “We are already working on providing insurance packages for a sign writing company with 31 outlets, a specialist travel agent with over 50 outlets opening in the next two years and an estate agent with more than 40 outlets.”
“We would relish the challenge of investigating the insurance needs of any franchise at no cost or obligation.”
