Moreland Insurance, one of Scotland's largest and most successful insurance brokers, has made a significant new appointment which will help bring the best elements of industry practice to its portfolio of business and private clients.

It has secured the services of Jacqueline McDowall, formerly with award-winning financial services giant First Direct, to front its customer-facing operations as Telephone Account Manager.

Ms McDowall was a service champion with First Direct which, since its inception, has earned an retained an unparalleled reputation for technological innovation, outstanding customer service and industry-beating products.
